Corporate Diwali Hamper Ideas That Do Not Look Bought
Everyone sells the contents. Almost nobody thinks about the surface, which is the only part with your name on it.
Search corporate Diwali hampers and you get a hundred versions of the same box. Dry fruits, sweets, a diya, a wellness set. The contents are close to interchangeable, which means the contents are not what people remember.
What they remember is whether the box looked like someone chose it or like someone ordered it.
The part everyone skips
A hamper has exactly three branded surfaces: the outer seal, the tag, and whatever sits on top when the lid comes off. That is where your company name belongs. Not printed across the box, and not on the product itself.
Why not brand the product
A mug with a company logo says the company gave it. A good gift in branded packaging says the company chose it. The second one gets kept.
What to brand instead
A foil sticker sealing the box and a tag carrying the recipient's name. Both cost a few dollars across an entire hamper and both are seen before anything is eaten.

Budgets that actually work
Under $25 a head
Sweets or dry fruit, a diya, and good packaging. At this budget the packaging is doing most of the work, so spend a disproportionate share of it there.
$25 to $60 a head
The standard client hamper. Room for something with provenance, a coffee or a spice set, plus a named tag.
Above $60
Reserved for key clients. At this level individual personalization on every box is affordable, and it is the difference between a gift and a mailing.
One rule across all three
Do not send tiers that recipients can compare. If two people in the same office get visibly different boxes, you have created a problem rather than goodwill.
Personalizing at volume
At fifty units and above, printing an individual name on every tag stops being extravagant and starts being cheap. Send us the name list as a spreadsheet and each tag is set individually.
Browse Diwali tags and Diwali stickers, or send your logo for a fully custom run through the bulk order page.

Timing, which is where this goes wrong
Production slots fill during the fortnight before the festival. Ordering three weeks out buys you a proof round, which is when someone finally notices the company name is misspelled.
Personalized runs take 3 to 7 business days to produce, then ship across the USA. Work backwards from the date the boxes need to be in hand, not the date you want them shipped.
What to avoid
Alcohol
Unless you know the recipient drinks. In a mixed corporate list you will not.
Anything perishable with a short window
Shipping delays turn fresh sweets into a complaint.
A seasonal pun
It ages badly and someone will keep the tag.

FAQ
1. When should a company order Diwali hampers?
Three weeks before the festival. Production slots fill during the final fortnight and ordering early is what buys you a proof round.
2. What should we brand, the gift or the packaging?
The packaging. A branded product reads as merchandise. A good gift in branded packaging reads as a considered choice.
3. Can each hamper have a different recipient name?
Yes. Send the name list as a spreadsheet and each tag is set individually. At fifty units and above this costs very little per box.
4. What is a reasonable per head budget?
Under $25 for broad employee gifting, $25 to $60 for clients, above $60 for key accounts. Avoid visibly different tiers within one office.
5. Do you supply the hamper contents?
No. We print the packaging that brands them, which means tags, stickers, envelopes and cards. Most clients source contents separately and come to us for the surface.
6. Is there a minimum order?
Volume pricing starts around 100 pieces. Below that, standard pricing applies with no hard minimum.
